Jennifer Tallack, Executive Director of the Dependable Strengths Foundation in Johannesburg, South Africa is this year's Dependable Strengths Conference keynote speaker. With over 85 active DS facilitators in
South Africa and literally hundreds who have now experienced the
DS process, DS is positioning itself to be an effective catalyst
for hope in the Rainbow Nation. There are also Dependable Strengths
Operating Groups at two South African universities, two secondary
schools have agreed to integrate DS into their curricula, and a
regular schedule of DS courses is offered at a women’s community
center. There are endless possibilities
for growth. We have only begun to scratch the surface,

The Center for Dependable Strengths is pleased to announce that its first annual Conference for DS Practitioners and Partners will take place August 7-8, 2005 in Haggett Hall at the University of Washington, Seattle. The theme of the conference is, "Renew and Reconnect." Our purpose is to nurture community among DS practitioners and partners: to meet again, to renew friendships, to share our DS experiences, to hear some stories, to have a conversation about how we've been doing (about our successes and challenges), to get to know each other again, to enhance our communication and our support for one another. The conference Planning Committee has worked hard to keep this event affordable and accessible to all with a registration fee of just $95.00.
