CDS Executive Committee
Update (July 2004)
The Center for Dependable Strengths Executive Committee
is made up of 7 volunteer members - the same seven who comprise
the Board of Directors.
The Executive Committee generally meets the first Saturday
of each month to conduct the day to day business of the Center.
A wide-ranging agenda is generated during the month to address
the many aspects of running a non-profit organization.
Allen Boivin Brown, President of the Center for Dependable
Strengths (CDS)reported that recent topics the Executive
Committee have focused on include:
a) the establishment of a satellite CDS operation on the
East Coast
b) development of an adaptation of the DSA process for Middle
School students
c) development of DSA on the Web
d) establishing a fundraising plan
e) planning for recruiting and supporting more DSA trainers
f) outlining legal contracts for licensing DSA to other organizations
g) developing a budget format
h) developing marketing strategies for DSA trainings
i) scheduling conference workshops and other trainings, etc.
